A native of the Czech Republic, she has a bachelors degree in journalism from the Charles University, Prague, and a masters in science from the International Space University in Strasbourg, France. She previously worked for the Space Safety Magazine, published by the International Association for the Advancement of Space Safety and London-based Engineering and Technology magazine.
